Lavender Lemonade Ice Pops

Light, refreshing and perfect anytime.

ingredients

  • 2 cups lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons dried lavender buds
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cups filtered water
  • 10 Zipzicle® ice pop bags (available from zipzicles.com)

instructions

  1. Bring 1 ½ cup water to a gentle boil in a small pot. Stir in sugar until fully dissolved. Add 3 tablespoons of lavender, stir, and let gently simmer together for 2-3 min. Turn the heat off on the burner, place the lid on the pot and let it steep on the warm burner for 20 minutes. Once the lavender mixture is slighty cooled, strain it into a pitcher. Add fresh lemon juice and stir.
  2. Using a funnel, fill pouches to recommended line. Place upright in a mug or container and freeze until solid. Enjoy!
  3. Adult Option: If you want to spike this recipe with vodka replace a half a cup of water with vodka. NOTE: DO NOT boil the vodka. Boil only 1 cup of water. Add vodka with fresh lemon juice at the end.
